Yilian Internet Technology Co., Ltd. (“Yilian” or “we” or “us” or “our” or other similar pronouns) takes your (“you”or “user”or other similar pronouns ) privacy matters very seriously. The Policy details how we receive, collect and use information in connection with our website (the “Site”) and Dou Call software (“Dou Call” or the “Software”) (All of the foregoing, collectively, are named “Services”).

Privacy Principles

Yilian has two fundamental principles when it comes to personal information:

1. We don't sell your personal information.

2. We only store the personal information that we need to operate our Service so you can communicate with the people you choose.

This Policy applies to anyone who accesses the Service. By visiting the Website and/or using the Apps or Service, you acknowledge that the collection, use, and sharing of your information will take place as described in this Policy.

So we are clear about the terminology we are using, when we use the phrase "Personal Information" in this Privacy Policy, we mean information that is capable of being associated with or could reasonably be linked with you, such as your mobile number.

Information We Collect

(1) Contacts Information

You need to allow the App to access your address book on your mobile device. By authorizing the access you can easily make calls, send messages, forward messages and files, share contacts information. Your contacts info will not be uploaded to our server, or any third party server. It's only stored in your local device, within the App. A simplified copy of the address book with information such as the name, phone number, and ringtone of each contact will be stored and used to display the identity of the calling party of the call. The information will be removed permanently once the user uninstalled the app.

(2) Personal Information

When you install the App on your mobile device, you could login as a guest (using your deviceid as your identity), or might be required to provide a mobile phone number to receive an access code via SMS. The phone number will be saved on the app servers.

When you create an account, we may ask for personal information, like your name or email address. We may also collect demographic information, such as age, gender, or preferences. We might also ask you to create a publicly-visible profile, which may include your name and photo. This information might be used to provide personalized content and information to you and others, which could include online ads or other forms of marketing.If you register with a third-party account, we may collect information such as age, gender, address or portrait from your third-party account and use it to complete your profile. All this information is optional, and depends on the function design.

(3) Location Information

Certain features require access to the location information on your mobile phone. Some features, such as "Find Nearby Friends" also store your location information on our servers, and share your location information with other users. If you are concerned about the privacy of your location information, we recommend you do not use those features.

(4) Device Information

When you install the App on your device, we may automatically collect certain information from your device, including an Android, Apple iOS, or other ID, device maker and model, mobile web browser type and version, IP address, MAC address, the operating system’s maker and version, location information, MCC (Mobile Country Code) information, the mobile application name and other technical data about your device and use them as identifying information to detect, investigate, prevent, or address technical issues or illegal activity.

A list of specific mobile applications installed on your device will also be collected to provide certain features, such as signing in from a third-party service or sharing messages on other third-party apps and services.

(5) Usage Information

We automatically collect usage information that does not identify an individual user. For example, when you install the App on your device, we automatically collect information such as your device type, operating system version and type, IP address, certain unique device identifiers (such as Android ID, MAC address, and IDFA) and carrier and other information for your device. We use this information to enhance the services we offer and to help us understand how people use the service.

(6) Analytic Information

We use third-party analytic tools to help us measure traffic and usage trends for the Service. These tools collect information sent by your device or our service, including the web pages you visit, the App software screens you access, and other information that assists us in improving the service. We collect and use this analytic information with analytic information from other users so that it cannot reasonably be used to identify any particular individual user.

(7) Cookie and Tracking

A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor's computer, and that the visitor's browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. The App uses cookies to help the App identify and track visitors, their usage of websites, and their website access preferences. The App visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using the App' websites, with the drawback that certain features of the App's websites may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

We use analytic tools provided by Google, AppsFlyer and others which use other visitor identification technology that help the App identify users and track usage of our Service.

(8) Cache

When you use the App to send a multimedia message (such as sharing a picture, or sharing a video clip), the multimedia content will be cached in the servers for enhancing the responding speed of our service and increasing the effectiveness of performance. The cached content will be removed once it's retrieved by the receiver, or after a certain period of months. The App does not provide any means for you to delete the cached content manually.

(9) Share Data

Share Data is the data that you provide for use with the App, such as text, audio, photos and videos you make available through the app or contacts you add or import for use within the App, which might be used to ensure our services are working as intended and aid in more efficient delivery of our services, and also may be made available to third parties by your actions when using the App.

How We Use Information

In addition to some of the specific uses of information we describe in this Privacy Policy, we may use information that we receive to:

Allow us to keep you posted on the App's latest product announcements, application updates, and upcoming events. Help us develop, deliver, test and improve our products, and services. Provide personalized content and information to you and others, which could include online ads or other forms of marketing. Provide, improve, test, and monitor the effectiveness of our Service. Monitor metrics such as total number of visitors, traffic, and demographic patterns. Diagnose or fix technology problems.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

If no necessary to improve the service, no information will be shared to other parties. For service improvment purpose, we may share your information with businesses that are legally part of the same group of companies that the App is part of, or that become part of that group ("Affiliates"). Affiliates may use this information to help provide, understand, and improve the Service (including by providing analytics) and Affiliates' own services (including by providing you with better and more relevant experiences). We also may share your information with third-party organizations that help us provide the Service to you ("Service Providers"). Our Service Providers will be given access to your information as it is reasonably necessary to provide the Service under reasonable confidentiality terms. We may also share certain information with third-party advertising partners. This information would allow third-party ad networks to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. We share the information we collect with third-party business partners who commit to comply with applicable laws concerning their usage of the information. Our third-party business partners may share anonymized information with their own third party business partners and use the information either for themselves or on behalf of their own business partners to operate and improve their services; provide you with advertisements and information for products and services in the App or on other mobile apps or websites based on variables such as your location, and assess your level of engagement with them; and carry out other purposes that are disclosed to you and to which you consent. We may remove parts of data that can identify you and share anonymized data with other parties. We may also combine your information with other information in a way that it is no longer associated with you and share that aggregated information. We may disclose your information to law enforcement, governmental agencies, or authorized third-parties, in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request, or when the App believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of the App, third parties or the public at large.

Analytics Collection

We may use Google Analytics or other analytics tools to help us analyze and evaluate how the site is used as part of our ongoing efforts to improve the site, features and services of the App. Google Analytics may have access to your information (including but not limited to IP address, web analytics and information processing) only for the purposes of performing these tasks and on behalf of us. We will never (and will not allow any third party to) use the statistical analytics tool to track or to collect any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of visitors. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. We will not associate any data gathered from this site with any Personally Identifiable Information from any source.

Your Rights

Subject to limitations in applicable law, you are entitled to object to or request the restriction of processing of your Personal Data, and to request access to, rectification, erasure and portability of your own Personal Data.

Where the use of your information is based on your consent, you can withdraw this consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the data processing based on the consent before its withdrawal.

Requests should be submitted by contacting us through feedback. If you are aware of changes or inaccuracies in your information, please do inform us of such changes so that our records can be updated or corrected. We retain your Personal Data as long as needed to provide services or products to you, or as required or permitted by applicable laws, such as tax and accounting laws.

We do not disclose Personal Information beyond what is described in this Policy. All our users, including those in California, have the following rights.

(a) Right to access: You have the right to know and see what data we have collected about you over the past 12 months including:

categories of personal information we have collected about you;

categories of sources from which the personal information is collected;

the business or commercial purpose for collecting your personal information;

the categories of third parties with whom we have shared your personal information;

and the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.

(b) Right to deletion: You have the right to request that we delete in certain circumstances the personal information we have collected from you.

(c) Right not to be discriminated against: You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

(a) Right to access: the right to request certain information about, access to and copies of the Personal Information about you that we are holding;

(b) Right to request that we rectify, limit, cease processing or erase information we hold about you in certain circumstances;

(c) Right to data portability: the right to request that we return any information you have provided in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, or that we send it directly to another company, where technically feasible;

(d) Right to object: the right to object to our use of your Personal Information including where we use it for our legitimate interests or, if applicable, for marketing purposes;

(e) Right to lodge a complaint about us to a supervisory body in your country of work or residence.

Legal Basis for Processing

We process your Personal Information on the ground that such processing is necessary to further our legitimate interests (including: (1) providing an effective and innovative Service to our users; (2) to detect, prevent or otherwise address fraud or security issues in respect of our provision of the Service), unless those interests are overridden by your interest or fundamental rights and freedoms that require protections of Personal Information.

We also process your Personal Information where it is necessary on the basis of performing under our contract with you in accordance with our Terms of Service, or in order to create a contract with you.

Automated decision making: Our software operates an algorithm to determine which of your contacts may be most relevant to you, who you might wish to connect with and/or invite to the Service.

Recipients of Personal Information and transfers to third countries: as set out in the sections above called Sharing of Personal Information and Service Providers, we share your Personal Information with certain third party providers in third country, and such transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards.

Security

We take prudent and reasonable precaution to protect your information on our servers from misuse, loss and unauthorized access. To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of information, we have put in place safeguards to secure the information we collect online.

Without your consent, Yilian will never publish, edit or disclose your information except under the following circumstances:

(a) When it is necessary to comply with the law, or legal process served on us;

(b) Act in urgent circumstances to protect personal safety of users of our services or members of the public;

(c) Protect our trademarks and intellectual property;

(d) Cooperate with a judicial organ for the purpose of monitoring and detection prescribed by laws and regulations;

(e) Any other circumstances requiring such action.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for - and we don't direct them to - anyone under 13. And that's why we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. We urge parents to instruct their children never to give out their real names, addresses, or phone numbers, without parental permission, when online. If we learn that we have collected any Personal Information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will promptly take steps to delete such information and terminate the child's account.

In addition, we may limit how we collect, use, and store some of the information of EU users between 13 and 16. In some cases, this means we will be unable to provide certain functionality to these users. If we need to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing your information and your country requires consent from a parent, we may require your parent's consent before we collect and use that information.

Modifications to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify the Privacy Policy from time to time, with or without notice. We will post the revised Policy on the site, and you should agree to review the Policy periodically so that you are aware of any modifications. Your continued use of the Software indicates your assent to any changes and signifies your agreement to the terms of our Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the site, software, or any of other services.
